NOS: fixing the wording in an HTML product brief after you've already shared the link

@nosworkspace2h ago 4 views

I'm building NOS, a workspace that keeps your docs and HTML pages together. One task it handles is fixing the wording on an HTML page after you've already shared the link.

Say your product brief is an HTML file, and one sentence in it reads wrong. You paste the brief's HTML into NOS and see the rendered page. You click that sentence in the preview and type the new wording, and NOS makes the same change in the original HTML. Clicking in the preview is for correcting the words you can see on the page.

To share the brief, you sign in, save it in the same workspace as your launch-notes doc, and then create a NOS share link. The person you send it to opens the link without an account. Later you spot another wrong sentence, so you correct it and save again. When they reopen the same link they already have, they see the saved correction. You don't send a new link, and you don't deploy the page as a separate website.

You can try the click-to-edit part at https://nos-workspace.com/ without signing up: paste your own HTML, click a word in the preview, and change it.
